Steven Zeller: The Emberlight Chronicles

STEVEN ZELLER

In The Emberlight Chronicles, Steven weaves his love of history and government into an epic story of the human quest for liberty. A voracious consumer of American history and geopolitical theory, he is endlessly fascinated with man’s innate desire to be free.

Steven enjoyed himself immensely while crafting the twist and turns in the unfolding tale of Jonathan Keechi (pronounced kēchī) and his friends. Integrating quirky, memorable characters into an adrenaline-pumping storyline while addressing some of the most important questions facing young people today is a challenge that Steven was eager to take on.

"What is the true purpose of freedom? This is a question that each one of us has to answer. And, once we've answered it, we have to ask ourselves a follow-up question: Is freedom worth the gut-wrenching fight that it takes to achieve and hold onto it?" As we dive into The Emberlight Chronicles, Jonathan and his friends lead each of us on a journey of self-discovery.

Steven and his wife of 25 years live in the Pacific Northwest where they home school their three children. He is currently hard at work on Book Three in the continuing saga of Jonny, Mujan and the rest of the Emberlight gang.
